If you’re one of those people who rush to IHOP for good pancakes, I pity you , my friend.

You need to get your butt to Wagon'sWest for the real thing. Fluffy pancakes made to order and with just about any toppings you desire.

I’ve been tying to get to Wagons West for a few weekends now, but its always jammed packed. Luckily, I was able to pop in and grab a spot at the counter on Sunday.

Take note-- once your foot is in the door, you might not remember you’re in Miami. This place is straight country. Anything that would make you think of the wild west can be found here, even a Skoal ad hanging on the wall. One look around and you know you’re in a down-to earth -feel-good-gimme breakfast now -kinda place and I'm not talking about Cafe con Leche. I'm talking pancakes, french toast, and grits!

I had the banana and chocolate chip pancakes with some eggs and toast. Delicious! I also couldn't help looking over to my neighbor’s plate of french toast-- a pity he ate it all... I probably would have sneaked in a few bites...

The coffee was delish, the waitresses are super friendly and everyone is smiling and just getting their morning mojo going with the great food. The prices are great too.  My hearty dining companion and I had quite the feast for under $20.00! You can’t beat that! Eggs, bacon, pancakes, toast.... cha-ching!

This tiny eatery has a row of booths and plenty of counter space so take a seat and enjoy the  grub! Call me if you go.. I absolutely LOOOVVVEEE breakfast and now, Wagons West!

Put down your soggy cornflakes and rush to Ocean Drive for a breakfast you won’t forget-- and I’m not talking $20 Cheerios!  Bye-Bye soggy cereal, hello Front Porch Café!

I'm absolutely obsessed with breakfast food and the fact that I will wait 20 minutes in Miami’s scorching sun for a table here, is proof that this place is all the rage.

I love my Cuban Toast and Café con Leche, but when you’re in the mood for bacon, eggs and fluffy pancakes, you’ve got to come here.

At the Front Porch, you can either sit outside on the front patio or inside. T
he menu is big with everything from tons of breakfast food like omelets, pancakes, several kinds of eggs benedict, burritos, frittatas, salads, sandwiches- you name it, they make it.

I ordered the California omelet chock full of ripe avocado and tomatoes and one of the best chocolate-chip banana pancakes ever. The portions are huge, so you can share too!

The prices weren’t too bad—about $10-15 per plate. Some people may think it’s a bit too pricey for breakfast, but the portions make up for it. And if you’re not too big on portions, the people- watching is fab here. It’s a great place to bring guests or just to enjoy a fabulous morning meal by the water while you sip a cool mimosa.

Absolutely the best American breakfast in Miami - bar none. It was huge, and I was enormously full before I had finished it, but you can bet I ate every bite. After all, breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

Oh my God. What can I say about this rinky-dinky Cuban place other than... Its totally fabulous! I was introduced to it one morning and since then I have comeback every Sunday. For $3.50 you can get 2 eggs any style, toast, potatoes, cafe con leche and 2 croquetas! Where can you possibly get all that for such a steal?

The moment you get in, you are greeted by one of the many sweet and too-tight jean wearing waitresses that make this town what it is. The service can be a bit slow depending on the time you get in--this place gets packed with other locals in on this gem.  There are usually a bunch of men coming in from the graveyard shift at the bar--most drinking Heineken at 8am!

Don't be put off by the Heineken drinkers or the shabby look of the place. It is hands down the best meal for the best deal! It hits the spot on Sunday mornings when pancakes and grits won't do.

I love Mi Cafeteria... Its delicious, cheap and honestly, I shouldn't share this little spot for fear that the owners will notice their too good to be true deal and take it away. I love this little Cuban breakfast spot. It has become Mi Cafeteria too.

Oh my God. What can I say about this delicious greasy-spoon other than thank you Emil, good friend and colleague,  for introducing me to this great breakfast spot almost a year ago. Since then I have come almost every weekend and can not recommend it more.

Jammed packed with regulars and Coconut Grove's police officers and staff, Coral Bagels is not your typical breakfast spot. It's for those who want a big and scrumptious meal for a small price--about $6.In fact, I've dined here with the most hearty of eaters and the bill has benn under $15!

Don't let the unflattering aesthetics of the place fool you... The coffee may  be served in different mugs from many of the local businesses in the area and the place could use a bit more light but, for those of us who wake up on Sundays in the mood for bacon, eggs, sausage and of course, a strong cup of coffee, this is the place to go.

Bring a friend before work, after church or just whenever. Have some eggs, home potatoes and a bagel with some chive cream cheese..mmmm... They also have some mean sandwiches for lunch, but trust me on the breakfast.

Parking is a breeze, the staff is friendly and most important, the greasy goodness will start your day off right-- it definitely did it for me today. Thanks again Emil!
